STAR 1-4 Event Assessor Training Seminar
WHAT: The STAR 1-4 competition program is where figure skating begins! These competitions are designed to introduce skaters to performance and competition.
WHEN: Saturday, November 25, 2023
WHERE: Sport Nova Scotia 5516 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax, 3rd floor
WHY:
- For the love of skating and helping our future champions
- To be part of your skating community
- Volunteering feels great!!!
WHO:
- Skating Background
- Any two STAR 5 Free Skate, Skills, Dance Assessments
or
- one STAR 6 Free Skate, Skills, or Dance Assessment
- 16 years of age or older
- Current or former coaches are welcome to participate
- A current membership with Skate Canada, (if you are not a current member we would be happy to assist you in becoming one)
Training Prerequisite prior to attending on November 25:
Successful completion of complete Star 1-5 Coach Assessor eLearning course
OR
Successful completion of Star 1-4 Event Assessor Technical Training eLearning course & exam
AND
Successful completion of the STAR 1-4 Event Assessor Pre-Course Knowledge Check (Certificate)
AND
Skate Canada Ethics
