NEW – Covid Information

It is with great excitement that Nova Scotians enter Phase 3 of the Reopening Plan June 30th at 8:00 am.

For Skate Canada Nova Scotia Clubs this means that 25 persons are allowed at the ice surface (includes skaters and coaches) and that if the facility allows spectators also will be permitted.

As always check with your facility for their most recent guidelines.

 

SPORT NS UPDATE: June 29, 2021 

Nova Scotia will be entering phase three of the reopening plan tomorrow (June 30) at 8:00am. Participants and officials in organized performing arts and sports (recreational, amateur and professional) can gather with up to 25 people indoors and up to 50 people outdoors without social distancing for rehearsals, performances, practices, games and competition. Masks are recommended outdoors when you can’t maintain a minimum physical distance of 2 metres (6 feet) from others.

Spectators are permitted (indoor and outdoor) for sports and performing arts hosted by a business or organization that have an event plan. Facilities are permitted to have spectators for up to 50% of capacity of the facility with a maximum of 100 people indoors and 150 people outdoors.
