COVID UPDATE – Reopening Information

With arenas opening tomorrow in several areas of the province it is great news that skaters will be back on the ice doing the sport that they love.

While they have been off the ice for sometime and will be excited to be on the ice, please caution them to take it easy and gradually get their skills back under them as to not jeopardize their training with an injury from doing something that their body is not ready to do.

SCNS has confirmation from Jamie Ferguson CEO of Sport Nova Scotia that if the facility permits 2 separate groups of 10 are allowed on the ice as long as there is no mixing of groups, they remain in separate dressing rooms, and separate when entering and exiting the ice.
