As many of you know, Skate Canada Nova Scotia had put forth the hope of hosting a competition on March 13th & 14th for our skaters. Many factors have weighed into the decision to either hold or not hold the competition, the most important being the safety of the people of Nova Scotia.
The Skate Canada Nova Scotia Board has considered all options and it was decided that in the best interest of the safety of Nova Scotians and respecting what everyone has done to keep the COVID numbers low in this province, the competition on March 13th & 14th will not be held.
Skaters, you may be disappointed, but we are in a fortunate position in Nova Scotia that you are on the ice being able to develop your skills to compete even better and stronger in the 2021 – 2022 skating season.
Let’s be thankful for what we do have and look forward to next season.
