New Covid Restrictions – April 27

As covid numbers climb we are now all off the ice for at least the next 2 weeks.

COVID-19 Update: April 27, 2021

Today the Province announced that they would be making changes to the Nova Scotia Public Health Regulations that impact the Nova Scotia Sport Guidelines across the province for at least the next two weeks. 

 

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, April 28) at 8:00 am no organized sport programming is permitted in Nova Scotia. This includes sports practices and training, games, competitions, and tournaments, and in-person performances. This also includes school sports and school gym rentals.    

 

Recognized indoor fitness facilities like gyms and yoga studios, and sport and recreation facilities like pools, arenas, tennis courts, and large multipurpose recreation facilities will also be closed.  

 

Recognized outdoor fitness and recreation businesses can operate with 5 people with physical distancing.
