  • Club Calls will continue throughout the winter, these are designed for Skate Canada Nova Scotia persons to speak directly with clubs regarding things that they could work together on. Please send us a preferred time if you have one.
  • Competitions – Due to the ongoing health risks along with the restrictions in place the decision was made by the Board of Directors to cancel the Robert McCall Memorial, Provincials and Star 2-4 Sackville.
  • We are very hopeful that we will be able to host a Section competition March 13 and 14 at the St. Margaret’s Center for Star 2 to Gold, PreJuvenile to Senior Singles and Pairs and Adult events. This competition will run very differently than the usual format to ensure that all COVID protocols and guidelines are in place. Spectators will be dependent on the restrictions at the time, we are pursuing live streaming of all events for the weekend. The final decision on this competition will be dependant on the Covid Restrictions in place mid February.
  • Officials continue to offer opportunities for programs to be monitored with feedback via video.
  • Calling All Skaters, we are hoping to see you skate at the March Competition. This is an unusual year and we are looking for a name for this competition, send your ideas to skatecanadans@sportnovascotia.ca by February 9th
